Harptech AI

Custom builds and consultation.

Two ways to work with us. Both start with a conversation.

Custom builds

Software built to fit, not to template.

We take on a small number of build engagements at a time. Keeps the work tight, the attention undivided, and the timelines real.

Most of what we build is AI-powered — tools that use language models, vision models, or custom pipelines to do something useful that didn't exist before. Web apps, mobile apps, internal tools. Sometimes a single feature inside an existing product.

We're best for teams who'd rather have it shipped and working than have it perfect on a roadmap. If you know what you want, we'll build it. If you know what you need but haven't pinned down the what, we'll figure it out — that part's included.

What you get

  • A scoped, fixed-fee engagement with clear deliverables
  • Weekly progress check-ins, no surprises
  • Production code, tested, documented, actually maintainable
  • Design that matches your brand, not ours
  • Handoff or ongoing support — your call

Typical timeline 4–12 weeks.

Consultation

Outside eyes on hard decisions.

Sometimes you don't need a builder. You need someone to look at what you're considering, tell you what's smart and what's not, and help you decide where to spend your engineering time.

We do strategy reviews, architecture audits, AI feasibility assessments, and "is this a good idea before we spend three months on it" gut-checks. We're direct, we cite reasons, and we don't pad invoices with restated meeting notes.

Most of what we tell teams is "ship the smaller version first." Sometimes it's "don't build this — buy it." Sometimes it's "don't build this — don't do it." We say what we mean.

One-off review

Fixed-scope assessment with a written report and a follow-up call.

Monthly retainer

Recurring office hours and async reviews for teams who want a consistent outside perspective.

Who it's for Founders, product leads, and engineering managers making decisions about AI features, vendor selection, or build-vs-buy.
